Since 2004 I have been continously engaged in the infrastructure of art through a number of different artist run initiatives in Copenhagen. From 2003-2007 ( if I remember the dates correctly ) I co-initiated and ran an artist run television station in Copenhagen called tv-tv. From 2011-2017 I was part of the Exhibitionspace Sydhavn Station at the old ticketoffice in an active trainstation in Copenhagen. From 2021-24 I was on the board of the artistic initiative "Skjold Contemporary" which is an artist run artspace in the dressing rooms of the local soccer-club; BK-Skjold. Since 2021 I have also been part of the artist run initiative LOKALE, that has since then operated from a variety of locations. Right now it is operating in a space at Prags Boulevard in Amager, an old Kiosk at the hospital forund at Frederiksberg Hospital, and at an allotment garden in Cph Sydhavn.
LOKALE 2021 and ongoing: Together with other members of LOKALE, I have among other things, organized dinners for discussions about processes and projects among artist-colleagues, together with Marie Rosenlkilde Lindberg, decorated the stall of BKF (the danish artist Union) for the Culture Meet in Mors, in 2023, and been part of a collaborative 1 year long exquisite corpse sort of exhibition that took us through themes of Beauty, Workshop, Language and Action. In that context I coo organized a marathon for singing together for 10 hours, and other things within the theme of language.
Skjold Contemporary 2021-24: At Skjold Contemporary I was part of organizing soloshows and group shows with different artists. For instance I co-organized the group exhibition "Merchandise, Memorabilia og Moneter" where the artist were invited to contemplate the concept of merchandise, value, and winning in an event and an exhibition that took place at the same time as the club played the finals in the international "Fenix Cup". A cup that works under the motto "Making Friends, not Millionaires"
Udstillingsstedet Sydhavn Station 2011-2017: While I was engaged in this initiative I organized, among other things, a Banquet Dinner with artist presentations, performances and theories presented at a dinner table (coorganized with Mette Juul), was part of initiatives and exhibitions at Kunsthal Nord in Aalborg, Den Frie Udstillingsbygning in Copenhagen, the hosting of a statue from another place and time in Copenhagen at the front entrance of the station, and I curated and organized the group exhibition "Til Tiden" . which, in a reference to all the scheduling and timing that takes places on a trainstation, was a series of different presentations hung on walls and performed in the space, on a tight schedule: As the curator I would put up and take down the exhibitions several times a day - and put it up in new constellationss and hangings that were directed by the artists and myself.
TV-TV-2003-2007 (I think): At tv-tv I co-organized, among other things, an editorial group for experimental telly-watching, where we took the art of spectatorship very seriously, and I investigated journalism through the role of an embedded journalist and a lot more.
